Hi there, Kelsie, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for submitting your question to us and congratulations on your upcoming spooky time visit to the Disneyland Resort. We're glad that you came to us and I'll do my best to prep you for your trip.
The first thing you should know about
Halloween Time is... it's my favorite time of year! Boy, are you in for a treat! The characters are dressed in their own cute Halloween costumes and there are spooky decorations spread throughout the Resort, even the Hotels. Check out the
Halloween Foodie Guide for an overview of all the yummy treats you'll be able to get. Darth by Chocolate is always a perennial favorite.
I've checked the
Daily Schedule and there are no listed special events on October 18. 2024 (Oogie Boogie Bash will not be held that night) and both Parks should be operating on their normal hours. Disneyland Park will close at 12:00 a.m. and Disney California Adventure Park will close at 10 p.m. Since you have a Park Hopper Ticket, you can just Hop on over to Disneyland to continue the fun after Disney California Adventure closes.
There are lots of fun Halloween details all around the Resort. If you happen to find a well hidden pumpkin that resembles a character, you might have stumbled onto
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. It's a fun scavenger hunt with a prize at the end. Jack Skellington is once again delighting Guests at
Haunted Mansion Holiday which is accessed via virtual queue only at this time (at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m.). For Halloween thrills,
Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark begins after 3 p.m. and will have you joining the Guardians as they try to navigate through a Collector's Fortress overrun with monsters.
Kelsie, I hope that you have a magically spooky time at the Disneyland Resort and thanks again for stopping by! If you need anything further, please write us again. We're always happy to help!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
