Hi. We are coming for our first trip to Disney world and are staying at the art of animation in an Ariel room. We have 2 young kids and would like to have one of them sleep on a cot, do they have roll away beds we can rent?

Hi, Tanya! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question. My daughter and I stayed in a Little Mermaid guest room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort a few years ago and had a swimtastic good time! Everything really is better under the sea! There are so many wonderful activities to do and things to see during your stay there. Be sure to keep your ears open while flipping your fins in The Big Blue Pool. You never know when you may have a bit of music to help you add a shimmy and shake to your swim moves!

Tanya, I confirmed with a Cast Member today that at this time there are a limited number of cots available upon request during your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Please understand that these are a request and cannot be guaranteed. There is a nominal fee required to rent the cot and it is payable to the resort at the time of check-in. I do recall from my stay at this resort that the rooms are a bit small, so I would like to suggest that you take a look at some of the Disney Moderate Resorts that feature a bit larger room and a pull-down Murphy-style bed for those that need additional sleeping space. My younger daughter adores those pull-down beds and usually requests that we try to get one of those rooms so she can have her "tiny princess bed." The Disney Moderate Resorts that currently feature this extra bed are the Alligator Bayou area guest rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. If you decide to stay at one of those resorts, you can call a Disney Resort Reservations Cast Member and ask that they add a request for a room with the pull-down bed.

I hope this information helps you plan a pixie-dusted adventure, Tanya! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
