Hello Imogen, and welcome to planDisney! My family and I just returned from a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and we had great fun making silly poses for our on-ride Disney PhotoPass photos! If you or someone in your party is wearing a MagicBand, your on-ride photos will "automagically" link to your My Disney Experience account. Some attractions have a photo preview area near the exit to the attraction where you can tap your ticket card to link your photos, however the newer Disney PhotoPass attraction photo opportunities do not, and rely on Bluetooth technology to link your photos. These attractions include:
But, no worries! You'll still be able to link your attraction photos without a MagicBand. One method you can use to automatically link your attraction photos is to set up a Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience mobile app and save it to the digital wallet on your mobile device. Be sure you've enabled Bluetooth for the My Disney Experience app, keep your phone out of lower power mode, and remain signed in to the My Disney Experience app. During my visit last week, I also noticed signs in the queues for those attractions without a photo preview area. The signs had a QR code you can scan that will walk you through checking your device settings to be sure Bluetooth is enabled so your photos will be linked to your account.I hope that helps! Imogen, I am wishing you a wonderful holiday. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Don't forget to stop by Guest Relations or the larger merchandise shops to pick up a complimentary "First Visit" button. Enjoy your stay!Anne Marie
