    We are coming in February and staying at Pop Century. Will we run into any characters at the hotel or does that only happen in hotels that serve character meals?

    You are unlikely to run into any characters at the Pop Century resort. As you suggested, the characters can really only be found at the hotels that feature character dining, and then only in the actual meal venue. The characters do not wander around the hotels.

    A recent exception to this rule is that when a hurricane threatened the Orlando area, forcing the parks to be closed for a bit, the characters were sent out to entertain the guests at all the resorts. I hope that you don't end up meet a character at the Pop Century because of a situation like that!
