Hi Diane!
Thanks for splashing by with this question. Like you, I'm also really excited about the
Water Park Perk for 2025 Resort stays. I haven't experienced
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park just yet, but with two stays lined up for next year, I'm hoping I'll get to visit both!
We don't usually make any big plans for our travel day as I've had my share of airline delays. I think this complimentary arrival day admission will be a great way to enjoy some sun and fun without worrying about travel issues or unused tickets. As indicated, this new perk will be available to guests on their check-in day beginning next year. It's my understanding that this benefit is reserved exclusively for arrival day, so I don't believe you'd be able to roll it over to the following day. You are certainly welcome to speak with a Cast Member at the Front Desk for more details.
If you have your heart set on visiting a water park later in your trip you can consider purchasing separate admission.
1-Day Water Park Tickets are available, or you can upgrade your standard theme park tickets to include the
Water Park and Sports Option. This way you can split your day between theme park magic and water park thrills. You can also upgrade to the
Park Hopper Plus Option which will give you the ability to visit multiple theme parks on the same day, subject to capacity, as well as a water park.
I know this is likely not the answer you were hoping for, Diane but I'm sure we'll see more details shared as this benefit is set to roll out. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to come back and see us again with more planning questions. We're always happy to help.
Magic and memories,
Amy
