Coming in Feb2011. Wanted to do mickey's bbq but wrong season :( Do you think HoopDeeDoo is a good alternative for DS 3.5 and DD 8. Planning lots of character meals but these sound really fun. DS is somewhat shy too. Thanks, this panel is fantastic!

    Hi Christine!

YES! Hoop Dee Doo is a ton of fun! Kids really enjoy the corny jokes, the singing & dancing, and all the interactivity of the show! The time just flies by while you enjoy the great food and entertainment!

Dinner consists of fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, baked beans, cornbread and salad. And for dessert - strawberry shortcake! Yum! All of this is served on metal plates - with the ribs and chicken arriving in big metal buckets. The kids will get a kick out of this alternate presentation!

Since your son is somewhat shy, I think the Hoop Dee Doo might be a good choice since he can feel involved in the show going on all around him, but not feel singled-out for attention. Everyone feels like they are part of the activity, since the room is fairly small and the cast of characters moves throughout the area.

Hope you have a great time! Enjoy the show!
