I am coming to Epcot on 12/31/24. Trying to plan arrival time (given that we will be there until 1 AM). Is there a specific time we should arrive by to ensure we are not turned away due to max capacity? Thanks!

Hey Howdy Hey and welcome to planDisney!

There is no better way to ring in the New Year than with a little Disney Magic in the parks! I am so happy to hear you have your tickets and plans all set, now let's talk about arrival times for the day so you have your best shot at getting in the parks and enjoying the celebration.

The best advice I can give you is to arrive early! Both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom will have special New Year's fireworks to ring in the New Year and these days may reach capacity limitations where no other Guests will be allowed in. This process does happen in phases usually so keeping up with your My Disney Experience app may help.

Typically as the parks get closer to capacity limits, they will stop allowing park hopping from other parks. This will then phase to Guests not staying onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel and finally with Annual Passholders and all Guests. Typically, as these phases come up, you may see notifications on your My Disney Experience app letting you know the status. If you plan to park hop to get to EPCOT or are staying offsite, I would plan to get there super early. If you are staying onsite, you may have a little more wiggle room if your tickets are for EPCOT only that day.

I hope you enjoy your Magical evening in EPCOT and please stop back if you have any other questions!
