Hi April,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning an Easter getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Springtime fun will be in full bloom, and you'll love escaping to beautiful, sunny Florida!
Dining reservations currently become available 60 days in advance. For Guests staying in the magic with
Disney Resorts Collection, you'll have the added benefit of being able to make reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days) 60 days prior to your check-in. Your tickets and theme park reservations will not affect your ability to make dining reservations, although you will need those to be able to access any restaurants located in the parks.
I'm usually a night owl, but I set my alarm early when it's dining reservation day because reservations can open up as early as 5:45 AM Eastern time. I would recommend making your plans in order of popularity, not chronologically, as some of the more popular restaurants can fill up very quickly. For example, if you have your heart set on Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Oga's Cantina, or a number of other popular selections, you'll want to book those places first!
The later in your trip you look, the more availability and flexibility you'll find.I'm sending pixie dust that all of your dining reservations will work out perfectly, but if you don't happen to find the exact reservations you were hoping for, please don't give up! Guests' plans change all the time, and it's certainly possible that something will open up later, especially a day or two beforehand as Guests are trying to avoid any no-show charges. Of course, with the
walk-up list and the
mobile order service, scrumptious bites and beverages are always just a click away within the My Disney Experience mobile app, too!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, April. I hope you have a truly magical...and
delicious...vacation!
Missy
