Coming to DW w/ 1.5 and 2.5 yo's in Sept; staying at AOA resort ;4 day park hopper. Is it realistic for us to make it back to the resort for PM naps and then make it back to a park b4 dinner? Is it worth it or should we just stay at hotel pools in PM? Thx!

Thanks for the question, Carissa! Congratulations on your September trip to Walt Disney World! I am really excited about the newest Disney Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort! You all are going to love being immersed in the enchantment of classic Walt Disney and Pixar films with the attention to detail that Disney Resorts are known for!  I have traveled to Disney many times with infants and toddlers. We have found going back to the Resort for a midday nap a very important aspect of our Disney trips to ensure everyone has a good time! The often challenging part of that is getting back to the Resort before the children fall asleep in the stroller or on the bus ride back to the Resort. My children always seemed to wake up when you laid them in their beds if they had already been asleep.Depending on what time your "little ones" typically go down for a nap, I do think it is realistic to go back for a midday nap and still make it back to the park before dinner. Our park planning strategy has always been to be at the park at opening, going back to the Resort for a midday nap/swim, and then return to the park around 6:00 p.m. to enjoy the evening's activities. Two of our "must see" shows at Disney are Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at Magic Kingdom, which are both offered in the evenings. With that being said, if you will be visiting a park on four consecutive days with your Magic Your Way Park Hopper Ticket, then you may find that you need to sleep in one morning or cut one evening short to regroup and rest up a little. Since you will be a guest staying on property, I would highly recommend taking advantage of Morning Extra Magic Hours with "little ones."  We are able to experience many of our favorite attractions during this time when the parks are less crowded. I hope I have helped! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you! Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Carissa!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
