We are coming to DW in late January - should we buy photopass before we come or will there not be many photographers around since it is off season? what is the benefit of buying it before vs buying it after?

    Hi Kate!

My recommendation to guests visiting the Walt Disney World resort is to ALWAYS purchase PhotoPass prior to your visit.  You can find awesome discounts online, which are not available when you arrive at the theme parks.  Pricing online is a definitely plus, as guests can save up to $50.00 off the purchase of their CD.

Despite whatever season you visit the parks, whether value or peak season, Disney photographers are always in the parks, ready to snap that perfect picture for all guests.  They are available year round for guest use.  You can give the photographer your PhotoPass card, and they will scan your image on there, AND (for those of us who like to see our pictures instantaneously) you can ask them to snap pics with your own personal camera.  They really are amazing at what they do and try to capture guests in their best light.

Hope this helps you plan you rmagical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
