Thomas from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are coming to DW in February and have bought our tickets and made our park reservations. We have received our tickets but do we need any other documentation to show our reservations at the gates?

Welcome to planDisney, Thomas! You are so prepared for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this coming February! But I’m happy to go over what else you might need to do before your visit.

I see that you’re a Florida Resident. If you did purchase tickets for Florida Residents, you do have to make sure you have activated those tickets before your visit. This means you must show Proof of Florida Residency at any of the theme park ticket windows or the Disney Springs Guest Services location, before you can actually enter the theme parks.

If you verified your residency when you purchased the tickets, you are good to go!

Now, once that is taken care of, you can enter the theme parks with a printout of your tickets, you can show the email with the barcode of your tickets on your smartphone, an admission card, use a MagicBand with your ticket already linked to it or you can use your My Disney Experience app and create a Disney MagicMobile Pass. You have lots of options and lots of time to decide which one of these methods you’d like to use!

Thomas, if you have any other questions, feel free to come back to visit us. It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical visit!
