Welcome Home, Heidi!
I hope you are getting packed and excited because your trip is just around the river bend! After more than a year of challenges, so many of our old favorites are finally returning to the Walt Disney World Resort. You may have already heard, but I can’t resist making sure you know to
look to the skies because nighttime spectaculars are returning the day before your arrival! Happily Ever After will resume at Magic Kingdom and Epcot Forever will be making its return as well! I would make sure you have both of these on your itinerary. They are the perfect ending to a magical day in the theme parks.
While Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon remains closed,
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is open and welcoming Guests. At this time, you do not need to make a
Park Pass Reservation for the water park like you do for the theme parks. Simply head on over when you are ready to hit the slopes of this ski lodge themed water park. What happens when you put a ski lodge in Florida? A lot of melting snow! Take on Summit Plummet, one of the tallest body slides in the world, see who is the fastest in the family on the Toboggan Racers, or take on Teamboat Springs as a group. There is so much to do for swimmers of all ages at this amazing water park.
I recommend arriving a little before opening so you can enjoy a full day of splashtastic fun. We like to head to the right side of the park to scout out an area with some shade for the day. Guests of Disney Resort Collection Hotels get complimentary towel rentals, so no need to pack your own, and
Disney Vacation Club Members currently receive a discount on admission, so be sure to use that perk!
I hope this information is helpful for your planning, Heidi. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Wishing you
Membership Magic!- Kate
