Hello Christine! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are thrilled you stopped by to ask another great question about traveling to Walt Disney World Resort.
The package you have booked will include anyone listed on the reservation. If you have added on one of the
Disney Dining Plans to the package the Disney Dining Plan would be valid from the moment you check in until midnight on the day you check out. Every Guest listed on the room reservation would need to be on the same package. For example if you have four people listed on the reservation including your stepson, all four of you will need to be on the same package for the same number of days. He could not just pay for his share during the nights he is with you. An option is to book a separate room for him for the days he will be there, but this may end up costing more than what you already have.
The great thing about the Disney Dining Plan is that the credits are pooled. So even if he won't be there every day you can still utilize his credits. You could indulge in a Signature Dining Restaurant such as
California Grill, or take in a dinner show such as the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Isn't that great.? We often save some of our dining credits and treat my in-laws who are Florida residents to a meal one night. They get to drive over and see the grandkids and I can use my Disney Dining Plan credits to pay. It's great.
I hope this has helped. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance. It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Guest.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
