Hi! We are coming down to Orlando over the MLK Jr holiday weekend mid January. Will resort pools (and pool bars, Lol) be open? Will the golf courses be open? Our son loves FootGolf at the Oak Trail course, so we want to try to fit that in. Thanks!

Hello there, Alison! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan another vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

January is a phenomenal time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! This time of year tends to be less crowded than December while still offering the wonderfully cool weather seen during the earlier Winter months.

You will be happy to hear that all pools at Walt Disney World Resort remain operational year-round! This means that regardless of season, you and your family will be able to enjoy some pool time at your Disney Resort hotel. It may be chilly outside but all pools at Walt Disney World Resort are heated to a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit! Pool bars should also be open during this time but be sure to check specific location hours as these can change seasonally!

You and your family will also find the majority of Walt Disney World Resort's outdoor activities open and available during your vacation! This includes the family-friendly Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. FootGolf is offered at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course and may be reserved by calling 407-WDW-GOLF. All members of the family can enjoy this precision-based game that combines soccer and golf into one fun activity!

Hopefully, this information will assist you in planning for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
