Hi, Laurie! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are such a Magical time of the year. I remember the first time I saw
Cinderella Castle awash in Christmas lights--it absolutely took my breath away! You and your family will love the holiday Magic sprinkled throughout all of the Theme Parks, but there really is nothing like
Magic Kingdom Park at Christmastime.
While “A Frozen Holiday Wish” has Queen Elsa transform the Castle to glistening “ice,” Guests can also experience special Holiday entertainment at Magic Kingdom Park during
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Here you’ll be able to see the all-new
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show which will pair holiday songs with a fabulous fireworks finale that’s sure to delight everyone. Guests in wheelchairs and ECVs typically have a reserved section right around the “hub” in front of the Castle which provides them with a less obstructed view. To include the entire family, though, you may want to consider reserving a spot during one of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert parties--either at
Tomorrowland Terrace or with
Plaza Garden Viewing. Just last week I was able to experience the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden viewing for
Happily Ever After, and it was a truly spectacular experience. I highly recommend it!
I hope you and your family are able to experience all of the holiday
Magic Walt Disney World Resort offers, Laurie! In the meantime, please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.
Best wishes,
Amy
