I am coming down on June 20th and my son has a cast on his leg. Will there be rides he will not be allowed to ride on due to the fracture? He is 2 1/2 years old. The cast has already been on a month and will be due to come off on July 7th.

    Hi Bailey,

This is such a common question however there really is no answer but what you and your doctor feel is safe for your son. I would talk to the doctor about what limitations your son has. One advantage is that he is young so the bigger rides like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain would not be an option because of his height.

At the entrance to each ride, there is an information sign which list warnings and recommendations for riding. The cast members at each ride can also provide you guidance.

I would also recommend staying away from the water rides as you do not want to get the cast wet.

As long as your son can transfer to and from an attraction, he should be okay to ride most rides.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
