Hi Moms! Coming down first week in October and staying at the Kidani Village. Do they have the K-Cup coffee makers yet? I sure hope so!

    Jambo Tami!

It’s great to see you back! My husband is British. We are tea drinkers in our family, and I understand entirely the NEED for a caffeinated start to the day. Thankfully, staying in a Disney Vacation Club Villa makes it super simple!

In general, the Disney Vacation Club Villas will have a standard coffee pot. Most of the Deluxe Resorts, some of the Club Level rooms, and some Moderate Resorts have Keurig-style machines.

The kitchen in your Deluxe Villa will have a classic drip-style coffee maker that comes with complimentary coffee service. It includes a bag of Joffrey’s Coffee, creamer, sweetener, and filters. Mousekeeping will happily replenish it at any time! If you prefer something other than Joffrey’s, I suggest you either pack your favorite grounds or get a grocery delivery. There are several options for grocery delivery to your Resort, including through Disney Vacation Club, Garden Grocer, Amazon Prime Now, and Instacart.

After you jump start your day, you must consider a “roaringly” delicious dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place. In honor of The Lion King’s 25th anniversary, you can indulge in an exclusive three-course menu that celebrates Simba’s story! During the dinner, you will be entertained by wildly talented musicians. They perform traditional African melodies as well as ones from the beloved movie soundtrack. This is a limited-time offering, so pounce on your reservation! You can book online or by calling (407 WDW-DINE (407 939-3463).

    Asante Sana!
