I am coming to Disneyworld this November for a conference. I am hoping to purchase the 5pm conference ticket to Disneyworld, but I noticed that Magic kingdom closes at 6pm for a special event. Would I be able to stay since I had just arrived at the park?

    Hi Sandy,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

Unfortunately, your conference ticket would not allow you to stay in the park for the evening, so you would only be able to spend an hour in Magic Kingdom Park...but would you consider attending the special event that night?

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the special event being held in the Magic Kingdom on the evening you want to visit the park.  Your ticket would allow you to enter the park at 4 pm and enjoy fun, attractions, treats, a special fireworks show and festivities until midnight.  If you think you'll turn into a pumpkin before then, naturally you can leave early.

One of the things I love about this event is that it is limited admission (only a certain number of tickets will be sold for this event) and typically, lines for attractions are incredibly short.  There are some yummy beverages and treats included with your party ticket, with some additional extra-special treats available for purchase throughout the park only during this party.  There is also party-exclusive merchandise available during this event.

If you needed more convincing, there's the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and the all-new Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show as well.

Sandy, however you choose to spend the evening, I hope you have a magical visit. Please stop by and visit us again with any additional questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
