We are coming to Disneyworld in December and want to visit the water parks. I am a larger woman what is appropriate to wear. A one piece swimsuit, can you wear a t shirt over top,or what about shorts and t shirts.

Hi, Leanne!  I am a very plus-size person myself (as you can tell from the Moms Panel videos), and I love going to the Walt Disney World water parks. No matter what their size, I encourage all girls and ladies to wear a one-piece suit to the water parks if they are going to ride the attractions.  It is much easier to lose a vital piece of coverage when you have on a two-piece suit.  Yes, you can wear a t-shirt cover-up over your swimsuit, but it is going to be a nuisance on the rides. It will end up around your neck half the time.  I usually wear a cover-up until I get in line for an attraction. If you aren't going to swim or ride the attractions then shorts and a t-shirt will be fine.  I want to encourage you to not worry about your size while you are there.  I lost a lot of sleep about this before my first trip to the water parks, only to find out that there were people of all shapes and sizes there when we arrived.  It didn't take long for me to figure out that most people are having too much fun with their families to worry about what I look like or what I am wearing.  Have a Magical vacation!
