Hi I am coming to Disneyland I know right now it’s California residents only I live in San Diego my drivers isn’t San Diego due to COVID-19 I have not got to update my address what will I need to bring to show proof of residence?

Hello there, Tiffany! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and asking your excellent Disneyland Resort vacation question!

Oh, Boy! Disneyland Resort has opened up its gates once more and is inviting Guests back to experience a land of magic! At this time, Disneyland Resort has begun a phased reopening and Guests can experience Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. There have been some changes that you may notice during your upcoming visit as well. Some of these include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact.

Additionally, only Guests who are current California residents will be able to enter the two theme parks! Guests may also be required to show proof of residency before being admitted. To show residency, you may use a government-issued ID such as a driver’s license. If you have not yet received a hard copy of your ID, you may use the temporary paper copy that was provided to you. You could possibly also use a bill or pay stub that lists your name and address. It is likely that you will need to pair either of these options with a photo-ID as well so be prepared to show such an item!

In case you haven’t heard, you will also need to make reservations before entering either of the theme parks. Reservations may be made as soon as you have purchased your theme park tickets. It is highly recommended that you check reservation availability prior to purchasing tickets and that you may your reservations as soon as possible as well!

Best of luck continuing to plan for your visit to Disneyland Resort next week! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
