We are coming to Disney World and planning to visit multiple parks. Do we need to note on our tickets somewhere that there is an infant? I also saw stroller wagons are not permitted, are there in park options for alternatives?

Hey Howdy Hey Cody and welcome to planDisney!

I bet you all are so excited about your upcoming trip in just a few days! There are so many things to look forward to during your vacation but it sounds like we have to talk about navigating the parks with a little one. Not to worry Cody, as a father of 3, we have navigated these waters before. You've got a friend in me to give you some insights to better prepare. Giddy up!

Traveling with little ones in the parks is a super fun time. It is so exciting to experience the parks and resorts through their eyes. One of the added perks is that your infants under the age of 3 are free! When you purchased your tickets, you should have gotten the allotment for all the adults and children 3 years of age and older. When you go to the touchpoints in the front of the park, you won't need any identification for the infants in the group. Cast Members are trained on what to look for around the toddler age to determine if the child is 3 years or older. As long as everyone else in the party has their tickets, you should be all set.

You have the stroller situation correct Cody. Stroller wagons are prohibited from the parks. The rules do state strollers have to be less than 31 inches in width and less than 52 inches in length to get into the parks. As long as your stroller is within those measurements you are clear to enter. Walt Disney World does have stroller rentals available in each Theme Park. If the stroller is for an infant, however, I don't think that would be a great fit. You can look up "stroller rentals in the Disney World theme park" online and look at the images. In my opinion, they are best suited for toddlers and above. What you may want to do if you do not want to bring your stroller from home, is look into ScooterBug. This company is partnered with Disney and they do offer stroller rentals for the parks. The strollers they have available to rent are ones that we have used with our children which did work out well and are super easy to navigate. They will also fit infants better and can be taken outside of the parks which stroller rentals from Disney cannot be.

I hope this helps clear things up a bit and gives you some options to look into for your upcoming vacation. I wish for an Enchanted vacation full of Magical memories for you all. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
