Hello and welcome to planDisney, Tania!
Thanks for stopping by with excellent questions. I am so happy to hEAR that you have plans to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in a couple of weeks!
As the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort continues, certain experiences have been paused or modified to promote physical distancing and the well-being of all Guests and Cast Members. While parades are currently unavailable, I am happy to share that you can enjoy pixie-dusted entertainment at
Magic Kingdom Park as Disney pals set out on adventures down the parade route on
magical character cavalcades. You will be able to catch Mickey, Goofy, the Disney Princesses, Tinker Bell, and friends spreading joy throughout the day! Magic can happen when you least expect it, so keep an eye out for the cavalcades as you enjoy your day at the park. We have not heard any news on the return of fireworks and parades, but I recommend checking the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements. This is my go-to source of information for everything related to Disney Parks, so if any updates are made the blog will surely release information to the public.
Tania, have you heard about
Disney MagicMobile? This convenient service is now available for iPhone and Apple Watch users (coming soon to other smart devices) and allows Guests to enter theme parks and water parks by simply holding their iPhone or Apple Watch near an access point (with valid admission). To create a MagicMobile pass, link valid admission to your Disney account and visit the
My Disney Experience mobile app. After creating your pass, you will be able to add it to your Apple Wallet and head to the parks!
It was a pleasure answering your question, Tania! I hope this information is helpful and that you have a magical visit.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
