Coming to Disney world October 1-5 & hoping to do Hollywood studios oct 3. But wondering about the fantasmic schedule because we want to book the fantasmic dining experience. Is the show only on certain days or should I be good to book the reservation

Hey there, Lauren! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m happy to help with this question. As a fellow Disney vacation planning enthusiast, I appreciate that you’re doing your research before your dining reservation window opens up (60 days before your arrival date! Mark your calendar!). That sort of planning will ensure that you have the most amazing time visiting the Vacation Kingdom!

The Fantasmic! Dining Package is only available on days with scheduled Fantasmic! performances, so you should not be able to book the dining package for October 3 if a performance is not scheduled for that day. Now, if Fantasmic! is canceled for some reason (such as weather), then your dining experience will still take place. Looking at the current show schedule, it appears that Fantasmic! has nightly performances in August and September (schedule subject to change). I haven’t heard anything to indicate that this will change in the near future, but October performance dates and times should be available soon.

Since you’ll be visiting during the spooky season, you may want to consider making your Fantasmic! Dining Package reservation at Hollywood & Vine. Minnie, Mickey, and their friends are always dressed in their seasonal best to greet guests at lunch and dinner. And if you decide to go with the Hollywood Brown Derby then don’t miss out on their famous Grapefruit Cake. Whichever restaurant you pick, I’m sure it will be a delicious experience.

I hope this information is helpful, Lauren. Come right back to planDisney if you have any other vacation planning questions. Your Walt Disney World adventure will be here before you know it and our panelists are always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
