Hi, we are coming to Disney World in May and I am just reserving the places where we want to eat. I have the Disney Dining Plan and wanted to know if I can, on some days, have two self service meals instead? Thanks Kate

Hi, Katie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with this question because it gives me a chance to talk about my favorite part of our Disney Parks vacations - the food! Turkey legs, Dole Whips Floats, Mickey waffles full of malty goodness ... sigh. There are so many great Disney treats and restaurants to try during your holiday at Walt Disney World Resort. I am so glad you are making your Advance Dining Reservations, as it can often be difficult to get a last minute reservation. I would hate for you to miss out on a meal you are hoping to experience!

The Disney Dining Plan offers guests great flexibility and convenience in planning their meals. Upon check-in at your resort, your account will be credited the total amount of Table Service, Quick Service, and snack credits for all guests in your party for the duration of your stay. You are welcome to use these credits as you need them. If you would like to dine at two Table Service dining locations one day, that is fine! If you would like to go one day without a Table Service meal and just check out Quick Service dining locations, as Lumiere says, "be our guest!"

Katie, be sure to keep an eye on your total remaining Disney Dining Plan credits so you do not find yourself without a way to try the grey stuff (it's delicious!). The bottom of each dining location receipt will show your current balance or you can use the My Plans section of the My Disney Experience mobile app to keep tabs on your total. I hope you have a delicious - oops - magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Katie, and please let us know if you have any other questions.
