    We are coming to Disney World in March for 7 nights and have the Dining Plan. At the table resturants can I substitute a salad for the dessert on the plan?

    This is a question that gets asked frequently. Unfortunately, the answer is that you probably will not be able to substitute a salad (or any other appetizer) for the dessert on the meal plan. The Dining Plan is quite strict on this point. That being said, it never hurts to ask when you're actually at a WDW restaurant. You might possibly find a sympathetic cast member who is willing to make the swap, but for the most part you will find this not to be the case.
