We are coming to Disney World in July 2016 (6 adults and 3 boys: ages 4, 6, 8). We want to stay together in 1 room or adjoining rooms. We would like to have a washer/dryer and kitchen/kitchenette. Close to transport to parks. Nice pools. Suggestions. Tks

Hi, Aynslie! Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There are some three-bedroom villas you could reserve at Walt Disney Word Resorts that would give your whole group can be together, eat with a kitchenette and keep up with all of that laundry! Standard rooms and studio villas do not have a laundry machine, so you would have to look for a villa with one or more bedrooms.

Check out the list of Deluxe Villa Resorts to find ones that meet your needs. A couple of my favorite villa resorts are The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (but be aware the Wilderness Lodge is under renovations this year) and Disney's BoardWalk Villas. The pools are a lot of fun at both locations, and you have transportation options. If you want to stay at a monorail resort, I'd look into The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I have some friends who decided to skip having a kitchenette and laundry in their rooms and opted for a Club Level room at one of the Deluxe Hotels so their large family could have space to hang out and eat together. I haven't tried a trip with those accommodations, but they loved it.

I hope you have a fantastic visit to Walt Disney World! Let me know if I can help you with any other planning resources as you put all of the details together.
