We are coming to Disney World January 25 - 29th. We didn't purchase the meal plan but was thinking about doing a breakfast or lunch with the characters is there any that you suggest that isn't that expensive.

If you want to dine with the characters, I strongly suggest that you call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE as soon as possible. Character dining is one of the most popular activities at WDW and many of the meals are fully booked months in advance.

For all Disney character meals, breakfast will be cheaper than lunch, and lunch will be cheaper than dinner. So if you're looking to economize, breakfast is certainly the way to go. As far as exact pricing goes, your best bet is to go to the independent website allearsnet.com. Click on the search button at the top right and search for an article called "character meals." This will describe each of the character dining experiences at WDW. If you click there on the name of each of the meals, it will take you to a menu that will describe the offering at the restaurant as well as the pricing. By spending a few minutes at allears, you'll be able to find the meal that best suits both your children's interests and your wallet.

I hope you have a great trip to WDW!
