We are coming to Disney World Jan 30 - Feb 4. There are nine people in my party. I will be making reservations on Dec 1 for the places we will be dining. Can I make a 4 and 5 at the same time or should we split it up among us to make separately. Thank you

Hi there, Nancy, and welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for making us your go-to source for Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning information and advice! We are thrilled that you're here with this great question about your upcoming vacation.

Nancy, you'll be happy to know that you have a few options when it comes to making Advance Dining Reservations for a large party. My family typically travels as a big group - it's awesome! Since the My Disney Experience Mobile App won't allow me to make two simultaneous reservations, my preferred strategy is to partner with another member of our travel party, which is usually my husband or my sister-in-law.

When it's time to make reservations, we look for dining locations that can accommodate a large party. When that's not possible, we make two separate reservations for our large group and inform the Cast Member at check-in that we'd love to sit together if possible. It doesn't always work out for us to sit together, but it's always worth asking!

If you're not able to partner with another member of your group, you can reach out to a helpful Cast Member to help you make the reservations via phone. Remember, you have until two hours before your reservation to cancel or modify, so this generous policy gives you plenty of time to adjust your plans and coordinate your whole group.

My family has had great experiences at Sebastian's Bistro, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Boma-Flavors of Africa, Cape May Cafe, and The Crystal Palace.

Nancy, I hope this is helpful as you continue to make your plans. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See ya real soon!
