Hi! We are coming to Disney World for 14 days in May. We would like to know how the dining reservations work. We know we can book 60 days before our trip, but can we book for the whole duration of our trip or is it 60 days before each day of our trip?

    Hello, Phillipa! Welcome to planDisney!

I may be a little bit obsessed when it comes to Walt Disney World dining. It is truly one of the most important parts of planning a Walt Disney World vacation for my family. With so many options to choose from, I always feel like I need to tack on extra days to my vacation to eat at just a few more restaurants.

You are absolutely correct that you can make your dining reservations 60 days before your arrival. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, when you hit that 60-day mark, you can make dining reservations for up to 10 days of vacation. If you are staying elsewhere, you can make your reservation one day at a time - 60 days before each day of your trip.

If you haven't been in a little while, don't forget to check out some of the new dining experiences. The brand new Space 220 at EPCOT is both a stellar and culinary adventure, as you are transported 220 miles straight up, giving you a unique and incredible look at Earth and the stars surrounding you. And while you're over there at EPCOT, the new must-do attraction for my kids is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Talk about a culinary adventure, this one comes at you in 4D!

Whatever meals you decide to choose, I hope they are wonderful, memorable, and part of a most magical vacation! Happy planning, Phillipa!
