Happy Holiday ChEAR Helen!
My family and I spend every other Christmas at Walt Disney World, and I am so excited that you will experience the
holiday festivities this year.
Walt Disney World Resort is Magical all year round, but there is something about Christmas that brings out the
extra Pixie Dust!
You are in luck, I
just answered a question about
Christmas dinner at Walt Disney World, so you get double the options! That’s perfect though because there is a wonderland full!
Two Christmases ago, we ate our holiday feast at
Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion at
Epcot. We had four kiddos as well as extended family, and we loved the elegant “lodge-like” atmosphere of the restaurant. The cozy winter feel, along with the fantastic food (I highly recommend the Filet Mignon - the accompanying mushroom risotto is delicious!) made it the perfect place to celebrate with our family.
If you feel like a walk on the wild side, dine at our favorite restaurant (all year-round!),
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. There you will eat next to roaming wildlife, and the meal will be as spectacular as the setting. The
Indian-Style Bread Service and Butter Chicken are two of our must-haves! Give yourself extra time to roam the Resort, the holiday decor is incredible, and you must see the lobby tree in
Jambo House!
Speaking of
stunning trees, the one at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be the perfect holiday backdrop to your classic Christmas dinner at
Whispering Canyon Café. Served family-style, the meal includes all-you-care-to-eat mashed potatoes, turkey, ham, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The last time I ate there, I stuffed myself with their
delicious cornbread, so make sure to leave room for your meal!
Helen, I wish you and your family a Merry Little Christmas ~ Rayna
