Hi coming to Disney World in August and staying off property. We have a small dog with us. Where can we leave the dog while we are at the parks

    Hello Elizabeth,

Welcome to planDisney. In the words of Dug from Disney Pixar's UP, "I have just met you and I love you." I'm happy to answer any questions about your upcoming visit.

Best Friends Pet Hotel is the "Paradise Falls" of accommodations for your furry friend. With daytime and overnight boarding options, your pooch will enjoy plenty of playtime while you enjoy time at the theme parks. You can even add extras like 1-on-1 cuddle time, premium bedding and treats to enhance your 4-legged friend's stay. I recommend reaching out to Best Friends Pet Hotel as soon as possible to confirm availability for your travel dates and any required documentation.

When making plans for future visits you might want to consider a stay at one of the four dog-friendly resorts on property. Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers accommodations for up to 2 dogs and will even include Pluto's Welcome Kit for your pampered pup. Just be sure to review the Pet Policies when booking and adhere to them during your stay. You'll find the same options offered at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. I'm hoping to enjoy a stay at The Cabins with my own Disney Doodle in the future. It sounds like a perfect magical getaway for the whole family. I can practically hear our pup saying, "SQUIRREL!" now.

Elizabeth, I hope this was helpful. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and see us again. We're always here ready to help, just a balloon ride away.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
