We will be coming to Disney in about 4 weeks. I thought someone had told me that we could send our clothes ahead of time and it would be waiting in our room upon arrival. Do you know if ithat is correct? If so, how do you go about doing it and how far ou

    Hi Lyndsey,

I saw a very famous professional wrestler's family do this for all of their vacations. They used an overnight service to send their clothes to their vacation instead of paying airline fees or risk clothes getting lost. It allowed them just to have carry-on. I thought this was brilliant!

You can have items shipped to your Walt Disney World Resort to be held until you check-in. I recommend shipping no more than a few days in advance of your arrival. You want to make sure your name and check-in date are listed on the package. I would also call the resort and give them a heads up that a package is arriving for you.

It is a good way to send non-perishables such as snacks, suntan lotions and baby items ahead without worrying about them.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
