We are coming to Disney the 2nd week in May with a party consisting of 6 adults & 2 kids (8 & 5). We have a dining plan & have scheduled the Polynesian Luau & 1900 Park Fare. Should we make dinner reservations for the other days & if

    Christi,

Walt Disney World can get progressively busier as the month of May rolls along, so I think it is best to schedule out reservations for as many non-counter service meals as you can. If you think you are planning on getting in a table service meal on a particular day, for a particular meal, I think you would be well served to figure out where you want to go, and make an Advanced Dining Reservation.

You can always cancel that reservation, but once the restaurant is booked up, you certainly can't get in.

If you are looking for some suggestions of restaurants, based on where you will be on certain days, just send me a follow-up question from my bio page. Let me know the where's (Theme Park/Resort/etc.) and when's (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) of what you want, and I would be more than glad to suggest a few choices.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
