Coming to Disney for the 1st time, April-May. Thankfully we will be there for International Star Wars Day. Are there any Star Wars events planned for May 4th? I've looked but I get easily lost on the websites. Any help would be great. TVM

    Hi Ben!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on making your first trip to Walt Disney World! It's so exciting to experience all the Disney magic for the first time.

In the words of our good friend Yoda, "Difficult to see - always in motion is the future." While there have been celebrations in the past for 'May the Fourth', Disney has not officially released any information for 2017 yet. With Walt Disney World now having so much to offer for a Star Wars fan, I know it's easy to get overwhelmed! My recommendation would be to continue to check the Disney Parks Blog and search Star Wars in the top right hand corner. The search results should show with the most recent on top, so as your travel dates approach they'll likely release more information.

In addition to celebrations for 'May the Fourth' there is now Star Wars fun year round! I'd recommend you check out Star Wars- A Galactic Spectacular nighttime show. With amazing projections and a fireworks display, it's a must see for all Star Wars fans. While the dates and times are subject to change, it's a relatively new production so I think chances are pretty good you'll get to catch it! The Star Wars Launch Bay is also a great exhibit that fully immerses Guests in the Star Wars experience.

If you are unable to find the information closer to your travel dates, please come back and let us know! We are always here to help. Have a magical trip and may the force be with you.
