    We are coming to Disney 6/22-29/09 and staying at AK. What are the approximate bus ride times from AK the parks and water parks? We have a savanna view, which one would you sugest for 7 and 15 year old boys. When can I make ADRs? Love the panel!

    Based on my experience you can expect the bus rides from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the various parks to be:

    Magic Kingdom: 30 minutes
    Epcot: 20 minutes
    Disney's Hollywood Studios: 20 minutes
    Animal Kingdom: 10 minutes
    Typhoon Lagoon: 20 minutes
    Blizzard Beach: 10 minutes
    Downtown Disney: 25 minutes

    Bear in mind that you'll have to add extra time to that if you're waiting for a bus to arrive.

    I think as long as you have a Savanna view room, it doesn't really matter which one you get. In every case, you'll have incredible sightlines to some of the most incredible animal species in the world. I have only had an Animal Kingdom Lodge Savanna view room once (though I have another booked for later this year). My daughter and I overlooked the Sunset Savannah in the Kudu Trail guest rooms. We had giraffes and ostrich on view all day. No matter where you're staying, you won't see all the animals on view at the Lodge, for that you're going to have to walk around the to the many observation windows throughout the resort.

    You can make dining reservations for your trip up to 90 days in advance of your check-in. For a June 22 arrival, you can start making reservation on March 24.
