Hello! We are coming to Disney soon and staying at port Orleans riverside. We are bringing 8 month old twins with us. O understand fun floats and beach balls aren’t allowed but are baby rings allowed? The kind that they sit in and serve more as swim aids?

    Welcome to planDisney, Melanie!

How exciting that you’ll be staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside with your little Mouseketeers! This resort is such a peaceful retreat, and I just know you’ll love the charming Southern atmosphere and relaxing pool areas.

When it comes to pool rules, Disney does have restrictions on large flotation devices, but small swim aids, including baby rings where little ones sit inside, are often allowed. That said, policies can change, and lifeguards have the final say on what’s permitted to ensure a safe swimming environment for all Guests.

To be absolutely sure, I recommend checking in with the front desk when you arrive or asking a lifeguard at the pool before bringing the rings in. If baby rings aren’t allowed, an alternative could be holding your little ones in the water while enjoying the shallow areas of the pool or taking turns relaxing poolside. The pools at Port Orleans - Riverside are beautifully themed and offer plenty of ways for your family to stay cool and comfortable.

I hope this helps as you plan your magical vacation. Wishing you and your twins a wonderful, memory-filled stay at Walt Disney World!
