coming to disney sept30- oct 10 with my 10yr old. staying at pop. was thinking about spending a few nights at a resort that has a waterslide? which one do you recommend

    HI Jennifer!

My kids LOVE the waterslides! They are so happy when the resort pool has one for them to try out!

Both the moderate and deluxe Disney resorts offer water slides at their pools.

In the moderate category my favorite choice is the Port Orleans French Quarter. The Port Orleans French Quarter resort offers Doubloon Lagoon which is Mardi Gras themed and includes a water serpent slide. This is a fun pool for kids of all ages. In addition, guests of the French Quarter can also use the Ol' Man Island complex and other amenities at Port Orleans. Its like getting two unique pools in one stay!

If you're looking for a deluxe experience, then the Stormalong Bay pool area at the Yacht & Beach Club can't be beat! This complex, which is shared between the two resorts, features separate pool areas which include a sand-bottomed pool, lazy river, and an incredible shipwreck slide! This area is nearly a mini-waterpark! Kids (and adults) can easily spend a few days here - you may need to drag them to the parks! Another convenient feature of these resorts is their location. They are within walking distance of Epcot and the Boardwalk and are just a short boat ride away from Hollywood Studios.

I hope this helps with your planning! Enjoy!
