Hi, we are coming to Disney next Oct/Nov and hoping to stay 7 nights in Port Orleans, off property for 3 nights, one night at AofA and one at AKL. If we get the 14 nights for 7 park ticket, would that work and can we make this booking with Disney? Thanks

    Hi Emma,

Wow! What a great vacation you will have planned at the Walt Disney World Resort. I hope you get to take advantage of attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party-it is my favorite special treat!

If I understand your question, you want to buy the 7 Day ticket and be able to use it over the course of your 12 night stay. You are correct in your theory of ticket use. Once you activate a ticket, you have 14 days to use the remaining days on your ticket.

Disney can absolutely book your trip. However, here are a few things to keep in mind. If you purchase your tickets with the room, they will sell you a length of stay ticket. This means you will have the ticket from check-in through checkout. If you want any of the Disney Dining Plans, you will need to have the tickets with the room so they can add the dining to it.

If your trip stays as you have it listed, you would have a ticket for the first seven nights and then one or two day tickets for the last stays. You would buy more tickets than you want because it seems like you want to take a day or two off from the parks.

If you do want to take time away from the parks or you want to leave the off-property in the middle, have Disney only book your rooms. Then you go and purchase a 7 day ticket to be used on vacation.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
