We are coming to Disney next month. Should we have received some sort of ticket or entrance card to get into the park? Our holiday has been paid in full.

Hi Richard and welcome to planDisney!

Your trip to Walt Disney World is just around the corner - you must be so excited!

If you booked a Hotel + Ticket package directly with the Walt Disney Travel Company (www.disneyholidays.co.uk), your travel documents are sent out approximately 14-28 days prior to your departure date to the email address provided at the time of booking.

In order to access your park tickets ahead of your arrival, you will need to link your reservation in the My Disney Experience App or, the Walt Disney World website.

To link your reservation in the App, you will need to follow these steps:-

1/ Click on the "≡" (hamburger) symbol at the bottom right-hand corner of the home page.
2/ Scroll down to "Future Plans" and click on "Link to Account" underneath "Missing a reservation".
3/ Click on the tab at the top which says "Type ID" and in the Resort Reservation section, enter your confirmation number and the last name on reservation, where indicated.

Once your hotel reservation has been linked, go back to the home screen in the My Disney Experience App, click on the "≡" symbol again and then click on "My Tickets & Passes". Your tickets should have now appeared as if by magic.

You then have 3 different options available to you for entering a Theme Park:-

1/ You can use Disney Bands linked to Guests in your travel party to simply tap and go.
2/ You can add the tickets to a digital wallet and use the Disney MagicMobile Service.
3/ If you would prefer a more traditional method, plastic cards, containing your park tickets, will be issued to you when you check-in at your Disney Resort hotel.

I hope that this has answered your question, Richard. Please feel free to re-visit us here at planDisney if we can be of any other help in the run up to your trip.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
