    I am coming to Disney in May with my husband, 9 year old son, 3 year old daughter and my mother in law (her 1st time ever) currently we are booked at BC but I am wondering if we should change to BW. I really want a nice vacation for all of us.

    Tina,

    I see no reason for you to change from the Beach Club to the Boardwalk Inn, and would actually advise against it. Here is why;

    • The Beach Club gives you the best pool in all of Disney World (Stormalong Bay). And it should be done with it's renovation sometime in April, so you should be OK on that front.
    • At the Beach Club you are a short walk from the Boardwalk, as opposed to sitting on top of it, along with all the noise that it generates at night.
    • You are closer to the Epcot World Showcase.
    • The Boardwalk Inn, while nice, adds no real benefit over the Beach Club, except that you are at the Boardwalk immediately when you walk out the door, rather than within a few minutes walk.
    • The selection of in-resort restaurants at the Beach Club is better (including Beaches and Cream, where dessert is the appetizer, the first course, AND the dessert!).

    If there was a particular reason why you thought you should switch, please send me a follow-up question from my bio page, and I would be glad to consider.

    Have a magical vacation!
