Coming to Disney in a little over two weeks for the first time! We are staying at the Contemporary...can we see the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom from our resort? The kids are counting down the days...Thanks!

    Hi Valerie,

The Contemporary Resort is a FABULOUS place to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. There are great viewing spots all over the resort including many of the hotel rooms, the California Grill restaurant, and the front entranceway.

One of my favorite fireworks viewing spots at the Contemporary is the balcony off the fourth floor. To find it, head away from Chef Mickey's and toward the gift shops, walk all the way past the gift shops and out the door toward the Bay Lake Tower walkway. Just on your left are several benches and a large open area that have a full view of the Magic Kingdom.

    Enjoy!
