We are coming to Disney in July. My father in law is retired military and is bringing the family. Is there anyway to add meal plan to the military discount tickets?

    Hi Chris!

Disney offers discounts to men and woman of active or retired service in the U.S. Military.  Ranging from room discounts to package discounts, guests, and families, of military service are able to take advantage and enjoy a wonderful vacation at Disney!

If you are staying on property, and have booked a military room rate, or a room on DVC points or AP discount, you can add the dining plan to your reservation without the need for additional tickets.  The military room rate does not require the purchase of tickets to add the dining plan, similar to that of an Annual Passholder discount or DVC bookings.

If you have booked a room reservation at rack rate, or with a Disney promotion, you CANNOT add the dining plan, regardless of your military tickets.  You also CANNOT book the dining plan if you are staying off property or if you have a reservation at Shades of Green, as they are not eligible for the dining plan.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
