We are coming to Disney Jan 2017 - how much of the new Star Wars and Toy Story lands will be open by then?

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about the thrilling new lands coming to Walt Disney World Resort! Disney Parks fans around the world are glued to the Disney Parks Blog for updates about the adventures we will experience as construction is complete.

I'm sorry to share with you that the projects underway that will bring Avatar, Star Wars, and Toy Story to life in a real way for Guests are not slated to be complete by January. Hakuna Matata! No worries, Amy. You can still test your aim on Toy Story Midway Mania!, fly along with our favorite clumsy droid, C3PO on Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and immerse yourself in the story of these classics.

Check out this fantastic release to see what is new and what is coming to Walt Disney World Resort. In my opinion, you absolutely must check out Soarin' Around The World. It's incredible!

I hope this helps, Amy! Please come back and visit us with any other questions. We love to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
