Coming to Disney 3/25-3/28. This is our first trip and have a 2 yr old & a 5 yr old. How do the parks work? Once you enter can you leave & go to your room and come back? Do I need park hopper passes? How do I know when parades/fireworks are?

Hi, Karri! Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation! Yes, you may leave and re-enter the same park as many times as you need to during the day without the Park Hopper.  If you want to change theme parks, you must add the Park Hopper option to your tickets.

For all of your planning needs, this information is available to you on Walt Disney World's website.  Simply go to www.WaltDisneyWorld.com and select the theme park you want to check from the menu at the top of the page. On the new page, select Calendar from the menu on the left. From the drop-down menu, choose the month you need to view, like June for you. When the calendar appears, the daily park hours and any Extra Magic hours will be listed. To view the parade and nighttime event schedule, simply click on the numeral of the date you are interested in attending. Repeat for each of the parks. All of the magic is at your fingertips.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
