Hey there, Laurie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations on your upcoming vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort! We are so delighted you are here and planning an exciting getaway to the most magical place on earth!
I'm glad you asked this question because I do have some helpful information to share with you about
upgrading your theme park ticket while on your vacation. Tickets that are eligible must be upgraded within 14 days of the first use and must have at least one day's admission remaining on the ticket. Since tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be downgraded, you are smart to purchase a 4-Day ticket in case you don't need the additional day.
There are four modifications that can be made to theme park tickets at this time:
Upgrade a 1-Day Value Ticket to a Regular or Peak Ticket
Add Days
Add Park Hopper option
Add Water Park Fun and More option
If you decide you want to upgrade your ticket while at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can do so at any theme park ticket windows,
Guest Relations or at the Lobby Concierge at the Disney Resort hotels. All four theme parks have Guest Relations (typically located near the park entrances) and at
Disney Springs (located in Town Center at the Welcome Center). A cast member at any of these locations will be happy to assist you with your ticket upgrade if you decide you need one more day of magic before heading home!
Laurie, thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your ticket question. We hope you'll keep us in mind if you need further assistance.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
