We are coming to Disney end of April and we cannot decide between the Poly or The Yacht or Beach club. I have a 10,7, and 4 year old. I like the idea of the monorail but the pool and location ot The Beach Club is very enticing. Help...thanks

Hi Janine! Well, this is a fun dilemma to have, isn't it?

Both of these resorts have large rooms and wonderful locations. The Polynesian has an enchanting tropical theme and a prime spot on the monorail route that makes traveling to the Magic Kingdom a snap. The volcano pool is fun, and your kids would enjoy watching the nightly Electrical Water Pageant from the beach. The Yacht and Beach Club resorts are located a short walk from Epcot or a quick boat ride from Hollywood Studios, and they share the fantastic Stormalong Bay pool that your children would adore. At night, you can stroll the Boardwalk and watch the fun sidewalk magicians and jugglers or take in an outdoor movie on the beach.

I've stayed at both the Polynesian and the Yacht and Beach Clubs, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any of them again. However, my two children are about the same age as your oldest two, and our family personally prefers the Yacht and Beach Clubs. The rooms are bright and cheery, whereas the Polynesian tends to be darker, and we love being able to walk to the wonderful restaurants in Epcot. My kids can't get enough of the giant water slide at Stormalong Bay, as well as the whirlpool, lazy river, sandy beach, and the fun poolside activities such as line dancing and crafts. With older kids, we enjoy visiting Hollywood Studios and Epcot as much as the Magic Kingdom, so its nice to be located close to those other parks.

Hope this helps you make your decision!   You really can't go wrong with either of these resorts! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
