We are coming to Disney a day early before we leave on our 4 night it better to utlizie the Disney Cruise Line transportation or a private car to get to port ? Does Disney offer transportation for every cruise...we are going 1/13/13...Thanks

    Ahoy Todd!
Thanks for writing back!  Your January sail away will be here before you know it, and it will be your family's turn to celebrate a magical Disney Dream voyage and a special birthday!  I know you can't wait!
Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transportation for every sailing.  The day before your departure, you will receive a voicemail or typed message in your resort room.  This message will inform you about your luggage pick-up time and your family's pick-up time.  Usually luggage is picked up around 8:00am while Guests usually depart around 10:00am-12:00pm.  One of the many perks of using Disney's ground transportation is the luggage delivery.  Once your luggage is picked up, you won't see it again until it arrives outside your stateroom door later that afternoon.  The motor coach you will board will be comfy and cool and will make the hour long ride fly by!  TVs and bathrooms onboard also make the trip very easy with children!  Your land to sea transition will be smooth and seamless with your delivery right to the curb at Disney Cruise Line's Terminal in Port Canaveral.  Prices are always subject to change, but currently a round trip voucher is $70 per person. This $70 charge also includes your comfortable ride back to the Orlando airport.  A private car's advantage would be requesting your own pick-up time and instead of having to wait for Disney to contact you.
If you think you want to choose DCL for your transportation, you can give a Cruise Reservation Agent a call at (800) 951-3532 to add it to your reservation.
I hope my answer helps with your decision, Todd!  Please keep me posted on any other cruise questions!
    Have a wonderful day!
