Hi, Megan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing us another great question! One of the first things I do, after we check into our Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, is to look for a current "bounceback" Special Offer. These offers are usually enclosed somewhere in the welcome booklet found in the room. The details of the offers change frequently, but they basically offer guests staying in a Resort hotel a great discount if they return again during a certain time period. I have seen this discount be either a percent off the room rate or even a Free Dining offer. The offer currently found in resort rooms is likely to change before your August arrival, so be sure to check the welcome folder upon arrival! If you happen to not find one in your room, simply call extension 8844 from your in-room phone and ask if there is a Special Offer for current guests. You will need to book the offer before you check out of the resort.
Since guests are not able to combine
Special Offers, you will need to make a choice between any "bounceback" offer you may book during this coming trip and a Free Disney Dining offer if one does come available for your next visit. I have noticed that there are lots of stipulations connected to the Free Disney Dining offers, such as a certain length of stay and a
specified type of Disney Theme Park Ticket with certain options added on to them. My advice to you is to do your best "Mickey Math" and calculate which would serve your family best.
I hope this information helps you plan for many magical days with your family! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
