We are coming Dec 19-21 with my 2yr old and 6 yr old. I thought the whole 'lighting of the Castle' and Mickey Parade were part of Disney, not a whole new ticket ... did I totally just mess this up big time or can we still see some of the Christmas stuff

    Hi Linsey!

Welcome back to the Moms Panel. Now, take a deep breath. You have not messed up at all! You and your family will have plenty to enjoy during the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests of Magic Kingdom Park can enjoy "A Frozen Holiday Wish" beginning at 6:15 p.m. each evening. After an entertaining show featuring Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf, Queen Elsa uses her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into a sparkling display of holiday lights. Your children will be delighted to witness this bit of winter magic before their eyes! Beginning on December 20, Magic Kingdom Guests can enjoy "Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade" at 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Be sure to check out the link I shared above for more holiday fun during your time! Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your upcoming visit.

    Have a magical day!
