    HI, We are coming Dec. 14th to Dec. 21st this year. I was wondering what day is the best day to go to Magic Kingdom, Monday Dec. 16h or Wednesday Dec. 18th? Thanks!

    Hi Ashlee! December is such a magical time to visit Walt Disney World -- the holiday decorations are gorgeous!

    The Magic Kingdom is hosting evening Extra Magic Hours for Disney resort guests on Monday December 16, which will likely bring more people to the park that day. If you're not staying at a Disney resort, I'd recommend you avoid the Magic Kingdom on that Monday and visit Wednesday instead. If you are a Disney resort guest and you think your family could stay up late enough to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, then you may want to visit on Monday. I'd recommend that you arrive at the park before it opens and hit your most desired attractions first. Take a break from the park in the afternoon to rest, and then return in the evening to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours. If members of your family aren't night owls, then you'd probably be better off visiting Wednesday when the park might not be quite as busy.
